Would you rather move from IL to AK or from AK to IL?

Palin is apparently whining (someone send her a cheese wheel please) about her media coverage during the election after the election is over..

1. Not sure... They're both corrupt idiots.
On the bright side, judging by the impeachment vote today, Blago's not going to be governor for much longer...

...a nutbag airhead.

Once is more dim than the other and the vice versa for corruption level.

Still nothing anyone wants...

24. I also think it is very telling that the Republicans, by and large, got in lock step
to defend Palin and Democrats, by and large, called for Blagojevich's removal. Dare I say that Democrats have more integrity when it comes to issues like this?

5. Every time I hear "also" from Palin's lips
I physically cringe. I shout at the TeeVee... "Nooooooo". I have to change the channel quickly because I know another one is coming shortly. It's the same reaction that I have to * speaking, only magnified (and I didn't think that was possible!).

Blago is a jerk, probably a liar, and annoying. Very likely a criminal. But I don't have that visceral reaction to him speaking.

Dems are going to impeach and remove Blago from his governorship, possibly jail him as a criminal.

Palin is likely to be the frontrunner to challenge Obama in 2012.

7. I'm gonna say Palin.
At least the stuff coming out about Blagojevich isn't "new", it's happened before. Palin on the other hand is opening an entirely new can of BS every time she opens her mouth.

Palin borders on the farcical, whereas Blago's quaint 19th century appetite for graft is almost too weird for words.

And Palin is a whiner, while Blago will go down swinging.

Ya know, he might end up getting acquitted. I haven't seen a case against him yet. There is no evidence he took money. Talk alone won't do it.

12. Blago -- he's a Democrat. Palin embarrasses the GOP -- good!
Besides, many of them don't even know enough to be embarrassed.

As to moving, the issue with Blago is to move him out of the guv's chair, not to move millions of citizens who suffer from his idiocy. Of course, Alaskans might be wise to conclude the same regarding Palin.

Actually, BOTH states are too cold for me, anyway -- even though I used to live in Illinois.

14. Well, as somebody from Illinois Blago is more embarrassing to me.
Palin--well, she is a mess in a lot of ways, but Illinois elected Blago TWICE. This is his second term. A lot of us knew he was corrupt and the state STILL re-elected the man. (As my husband says, "See how we are?") If the GOP runs Palin again or Alaska re-elects her THEN we are on equal footing, I think.

On a personal note, I have to admit that it amuses heck outta me to see how many IL Dems are claiming now to have voted Green in that election. I have to wonder why Whitney didn't win with all those votes?

Blago is a piece of work, but history books will have the Alaska Palins in there. My 8 and 7 year old know who Palin is. Thats much better than any indoctrination I could give them on making them liberals (just kidding about the indoctrination part).

26. Blago
Because he has a 'D' after his name.

We expect it out of vapid miss teenage alaska. But our party needs to be better than that. "Everybody does it" is often not a very good excuse.

Having grown up in IL this whole mess doesn't surprise me. From what I can tell, the downstate Repub machine stumbled bad so the Dem Chicago machine stepped into the power vacuum. With predictable results. Restructuring of both parties is inevitable and long overdue. I wish my home state peeps good luck with that.
