After his amazingly full of shit press conference where he marched the poor and crippled to provide a human shield that even Hamas would envy it is clear that he and his advisers have run out of rational responses.

How will he finally take himself out, what will be his final defense?


Will he go the traditional route and blame it on booze or get creative with cocaine or get people really talking with sex addiction (which would enhance the resell value of his story for the obligatory TV drama).


This poll is offered as a preliminary check so that people can judge the upcoming and inevitable intrade spread on what his final defense will be.

8. I would be surprised

if the topic of substance abuse is not discussed at some point during the legal process. It seems to be fashionable for the elite social class to excuse anti-social behaviors by blaming it on substance abuse. It does not provide a legal defense, of course -- one cannot get off on a DWI charge by saying, "Hey, I was drunk." But one can hope that it can be used as a mitigating circimstance, and that by accepting treatment, that one can avoid the level of legal consequences that might otherwise apply.
