Actual Headline from Michael Moore's website:
Krugman & Newsbusters Don't Approve of Gupta Pick
http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/latestnews/index.php?id=13001

He's calls this "Bipartisan Objection!"
http://michaelmoore.com/

Newsbusters? The extreme far-Reich RMC mouthpiece that boasts it is "Exposing Liberal Media Bias?"

Newsbusters? Michael Moore is citing Newsbuters in his defense, the same Newsbusters that posted "Time Bought Into Michael Moore's 'Sicko' Schtick"
http://newsbusters.org/node/13708

Newsbusters? Who boasted about "MRC/NB's Bozell on Hannity & Colmes About Michael Moore's 'Sicko'"
http://newsbusters.org/node/12986

Newsbusters, who wrote "In Rare Critical Review, USA Today Addressed Flaws In Michael Moore's 'Sicko'"
http://newsbusters.org/node/13699

and how "CBS's Greenfield Highlights Michael Moore's One-sided Presentation of 'Sicko'"
http://newsbusters.org/node/13681

Newsbusters, who proclaimed "Even N.Y. Times Questions Michael Moore's Math On Superiority of Cuban Health Care"
http://newsbusters.org/node/13031

There's a lot more. Go to Newsbusters if you dare and type in "Michael Moore Sicko" and there's over 196 listings, 20 pages, all critical of Moore and his film.

Now suddenly, This is who Michael Moore is stating is part of a "Bipartisan Objection" to Dr Sanjay Gupta?

Newsbusters?

I used to like Michael Moore, but I'm seriously rethinking that position, not just because of his new alliance with Newsbusters, but also because he's using Gupta to sell the DVD of Sicko.

1. And Krugman.
I could give a shit about Newsbusters. But, Krugman and Moore have my respect.

5. I like Krugman too
But as smart as he is, I don't think the field of medicine is anywhere near his expertise.

And in a rather disappointing and amateurish critique of Gupta, the best Krugman could come up with was a very short, two paragraph blog about Sicko.

8. I don't see much to get excited about in SG squared.
I don't hate him, I don't love him. As long as he takes his orders from Obama, it should be fine.

3. Bad Pick
Gupta seems too much like a hack and a corporatist. We need someone who will get rid of the HMO bureaucrats and put health care back in the hands of doctors and patients.

I hope I'm proven wrong with this pick but I just don't like it.

11. Going out of your way here aren't ya?
It looks to me as if Moore is merely trying to demonstrate the range of people who disagree with the Gupta choice. Newsbusters is about as far right as it gets, thus the bi-partisan part. You know, people from the left, people from the right, saying the same thing?

12. But I find it ironic Moore is using Newsbusters
to settle the score with Gupta considering Newsbusters was a hundred times more critical of Sicko than Gupta ever was.

To me, it's a matter on integrity.
