16. No kidding, felt the same thing...
Some days I still can't believe it happened that we have a decent guy as president. It makes me tear up a bit, still. I find myself saying "wow, it really did happen, I am not dreaming this."

I had a flash while I watched him coming down the stairs of "my god, what if it had all gone horribly wrong, and I had to watch freaking McCain coming down those stairs?". Could you even imagine? Mind bleach....

5. I'm speechless.. so I can't really imagine how the Inauguration will feel. Eight years
of seeing Obama and The Presidential Seal, indescribable feeling.

11. Let me tell you I had tears in my eyes and a chill up my spine. Obama arriving on that plane --
greeted by the U.S. military -- almost President, and Bush the Pretender almost gone. I'm not sure I really believed it all until that moment.

13. Notice that the Air Force officers and airmen were at ease, without saluting Obama.
Obama is a civilian. Once Obama becomes President, they will stand at attention and salute their new Commander in Chief. That's when reality will hit you in the face!

14. OMG. That was amazing, and so emotional.
I'm in tears. Watching that enormous motorcade depart with all those police cars with their lights flashing, 20-40 black SUVs, and an ambulance.

That was a sight to behold. I wish they'd do the "OJ chase" coverage of the motocade. It's incredible to see, knowing who they are transporting.
