Yes, I'm disgusted by Warren and plan to show my disgust at the inauguration event. But damnit, I still want to enjoy this event and I hope that I can meetup with other DUers who are heading to DC for the inauguration.

1. Yes..... but you have to feel REALLY guilty about it and make a really good sincere sad face

If you look too much like you're having a good time at the inauguration of President Obama, you will by definition be a callous and soulless.

Party to your heart's content.... but don't look like you're enjoying it.

:sarcasm:

15. The biggest tragedy that has befallen our nation....
is the fact that Rush is not in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame yet.

:grr:

10. I find it very sad that you are being made to feel guilty .....

after all our hard work and 8 years of shared trauma. As though one very stupid decision (Warren) wipes out everything and all support for Obama. Even if you are asking somewhat "tongue-in-cheek," there obviously are some shared true feelings.

I will celebrate and hope that all DUers can feel some optimism despite current disappointments.

12. No absolutely not

Order lots of drinks and food to eat and invite all of your friends but call it an invocation protest event and you will be ok.

Lots of protests I have been have been lots of fun so make sure that you have a lot of fun.

As soon as the invocation is over the protest is over and if you want to have people stay for the rest of the inauguration that would be a nice afterthought.

14. You should still have one if that's what you want.

Personally I won't be watching, but I don't, for one second, think less of someone who is planing to watch and celebrate.

Just my two cents.

PS: not sure you really thought about your post and how it sounds before you hit "post".
