Congress should release the other $350 billion in TARP money...for Obama

Make the money release effective January 20 at noon. Then demand line by line accounting and reporting as to how the money is used by institutions that receive any money. Then force (yes, force) the banks to lend money if they want to receive funds.

Then Obama should use the bulk of the money for the auto industry to keep it afloat as long as necessary (with conditions pertaining to fuel efficiency for cars, of course), as well as foreclosed homeowners and state governments that are having to slash their budgets.

1. I believe the agreement was that Obama would administer $350B

but Paulson and Junior are apparently lobbying Congress hard for the balance now. I'm thinking Congress will hold tight and wait for Obama to be sworn in.

2. Why do I think that after next 1/20 that Congress will suddenly become a PIA to the President?

After writing one blank check after another to these criminals in the White House, after being so disappointed in this Congress (both houses), the cynical side of me is prepared for them to turn around and start fighting Obama tooth and nail over every little thing.
