Guys, can you give me some help on something?

We all know from the last three weeks how much we've had to encourage each other from crashing after the relentless Kerry trashing in the media. After the horse manure that was dumped on us this morning on the Sunday talk shows, I think it would be a real shot in the arm for Kerry to rally the troops and keep morale up. I'm going to e-mail JohnKerry.com and suggest that Kerry mention in a light-hearted way, "Gee, some folks are saying we are way behind in the polls, and we should just give up; we know better, don't we?" "Don't let anyone discourage you". He won't be attacking the media directly, and won't look desperate.

This could go a long way in keeping everybody's chops up. Having your candidate talk to his supporters directly is very powerful.

I'm also planning to call his hdqrs tomorrow and tell them how I feel.
We flooded Kerry's e-mail and phones in the last few weeks to get him to fight back, and I see evidence that he is finally getting off his ass.

Anybody with me? A lot of e-mails and phone calls would help.

1. I think we should ask someone in the campaign first.

They have a lot to do and perhaps we can help by not overburdening their staff. Let's do our part by doing what they suggest would be most helpful.

4. I strongly disagree. I, for one, don't need a pat on the head to

stay the course. btw, you do know that those "sky is falling" posts are from trolls, don't you? We have more meaningful ways to channel our energy. A letter to the editor of your local paper would be far more effective.
