I never thought I would say this: I'm Impressed with Bush
He dodged those flung shoes in epic fashion. Given his age and how clumsy he usually is, I'm damned impressed with the way he dodged those shoes.

3. I think he's had practice.
Laura must throw shoes at him pretty often for him to be that adept at ducking them.

4. He's quick. Much to Laura's chagrin, I imagine.
I'm sure after all this time, she's learned to aim low, though.

45. Loved it...
although it was quite tense. I do love seeing the criminal Ray Lewis losing. Steelers got to do something about the offensive line, though. Can't expect Ben to last long in the NFL with all the hits he is taking this year.

29. Though I agree...
that Bush is a war criminal and should be afforded all the perks of that title - trying to compare him to Saddam as if to lessen Saddam's crimes is pretty weak.

We will never know the extent of the deaths caused by Saddam and his Sunni minority - but his misery covered over 20 years. He is more of a devil than Bush - but once you get past killing a few dozen people it is hard to split hairs on the definition of evil. Both are\were war criminals. Hopefully, Bush will get what his due...

19. He's been dodging shoes his entire life.
I suspect he'll dodge the "big shoe" on his way out the White House door. Rather than living out his days in a jail cell, he'll go on the rubber chicken circuit and grab all the money he can from his lemming fan club.

21. I thought the same thing. It took a little skill to dodge the way he did.
I didn't think he still possessed the reflexes. Or maybe he was coked up that morning instead of his usual drunken stupor.

It was wagging, seriously wagging, during that presser and the interview that followed. GAWD I hate him. That "So what" non-answer made me want to smack him with more than a shoe.
