Senate appointments - just so you know, Joe Biden gave names for his replacement
There are a few whispers about Rahm providing suitable names to Blago for Obama's open senate seat. There is no crime with this provided that no money or kickbacks were suggested during the deal.

Here in Delaware we all assumed that Lt. Gov John Carney was going to get the appointment for Joe Biden's open senate seat (he had lost the governor primary and his Lt. GOv job was ending due to term limits). Instead Gov. Minner picked Ted Kaufman, who was Joe Biden's former Chief-of-Staff. Some say Ted was picked because Ted will not be running in the special election in 2010 leaving the seat open for Joe's son Beau to run.

Point is this - there is nothing criminal as long as money or kickbacks are not being exchanged.

2. I disagree
It is ALWAYS criminal if a Democrat is involved. For Republicans? That's smart thinking. Just ask any MSM talking head. /snark

3. Every leaving senator gives suggestions about her or his replacement.
Anyone who believes there was something different about the Illinois situation is either uninformed or trying to stir up trouble.

I wonder which of those two categories most of the whiny right wingers fall into?

I'm sure Hillary gave suggestions for her replacement, and that's something John McCain wishes to hell he could do for his own seat. Fact is, they all do it and have always done it. There's no there there for Obama. Time to move on, Blago, ma boy.
