ENOUGH!
Edited on Fri Dec-19-03 08:06 PM by Epoch
Look,
Stop this bickering. I believe Howard Dean is going to get the nomination. Dislike him or support him, all democrats need to do their part to make sure Bush is out!!!

Stop bickering, instead be productive. GO register voters!
It's so easy. Go door to door in your neighborhood. Ask your friends if they're registered.

Instead of going on DU tommorow I am going to go through my neighborhood and register every voter I see. I have 35 voter registration forms and I am going to get everyone of them filled out by new democrats.

I challenge 10 people on DU to do the same in their communities.

The only way we can win is if we bring out every Democrat in the country, no matter who the nominee is.

So stop this bickering and get to work!
Yaron

On Edit: I think I should have clarified: Although I support Dean, if I thought Braun was getting the nomination, I'd still be in the streets registering voters. Let's not grow complacent about waiting until after the primary. Let's register 10 today, and then 10 tommorow, and the next day. That way we have 30, instead of the 10 if we wait.. How's that math for ya? Let's not wait until March 30th or so when we really know who the nominee is.
Rock rockin' it.

1. Voter Registration
Edited on Fri Dec-19-03 08:03 PM by Bleachers7
If you want advice on this, contact DUer Robb. He is in the middle of a "Robb the Vote" campaign. Also, many states let you print out voter registration forms from the internet. Where do you live?

3. For those of us not furtunate enough to live in a neighborhood
where registering 45 Dems would be so easy:

PLEASE call or visit your local DEm HQ to find neighborhoods with high concentrations of Dems. Better yet, High concentrations of Dems and low voter registration numbers. Maximum your time. I could go door to door in my neighborhood and would be lucky to get as many Dems and I did Reps.

Registering voters is a great goal. But we should not be so altruistic. We don't want all voters-- we want Dems.

6. The first hint was he thinks Dean is going to get the nomination.
You can figure out the rest from there.

8. ...of course!
Of course!
I am going to vote for anyone but bush (so says the bumper sticker on my car). All I'm saying is that no matter what happens, we need to make sure Bush is gone! If Kucinich is the nominee I will work my ass off for him as well!

This is a call to arms for all people! Great job with making contacts. That's 15 new voters against Bush...I don't care who you support as long as we all work to get rid of dubya

10. Dean is not my first choice.
But if he gets it, I'm going to work like hell to support him. I'm saving $ for the winner.

14. Bickering is good for the party platform,
and for forming and reinforcing the candidates.

If the candidate can't pass the tests from their own party, how in the world are they going to fire a wealthy, popular, Rovebot (I just made that up. woo. I like it.) incumbant? HMMM?!

Baseless, shameful bashing, I'll agree, is not productive. Informed, gentle questioning of candidates is HEALTHY.

16. Amen to that!
Not only do we have to stop bickering over Dean, Lord knows the press does an excellent job of that as do the FreeKers on Move-on.org website,

But, the DNC needs to stop the candidates from attacking each other. Come on guys, we will self-destruct if we continue like we are.

:kick:Bu$h out Now!
