2. Wait a minute
I haven't been following this clsoely but unless my literacy or numeracy fails me that looks like a 4100 vote lead for Franken. Great news of course but last night I saw Coleman maintaining a 200-some vote lead pretty much with noise level change from the start of this process. Wouldn't a near 5000 vote shift in a few hourse have caused a massive news alert by now? Any word on how it happened?

Great news, but rather a surprise to me. Did I miss something and if so what?

3. I did the same double take...here is a link, it shows a slightly different number
http://electionresults.sos.state.mn.us/20081104/SenateRecount.asp

But it also seems to show Franken with the lead.

4. Without counting the challenged votes it shows
Franken with the lead by 4,108 votes?? Is this correct...

5. Yes, but it only represents the officially recounted precincts
The newspaper totals, the campaign internals apparently show very different numbers when the not yet officially recounted precincts are added to these.

The best guess is apparently Coleman still up by 70-80 votes.

7. I cut and paste my numbers from the page you link, so they should be the same
Look down under "Recounted Data" (not at "Nov. 4 Ballots Cast")

9. This actually show a worse position for Franken than in the first count.
Check at the link http://electionresults.sos.state.mn.us/20081104/SenateRecount.asp.

It will probably depend on the challenged ballots.
