Sarah Palin still pisses people off.

Saxby Chambliss Takes a Big Hit
It’s mostly because of this stump speech Sarah Palin has given him. Since I had nothing better to to I listened to it, THE WHOLE FUCKING THING, and not only does it contain every losing element of her own campaign but even throws in a few more just to spice things up. I would recommend not watching the video I linked as it will make you dumber.

The biggest point she made was that our government needs ‘checks and balances’, so she’s accusing Jim Martin of being a rubber stamp. She also claims he would put party before country, and that Chambliss is the only candidate on the ballot that cares about America. Questioning Jim’s patriotism, his tax record and calling him a giant democratic cock sucker was the exact thing that lost republicans the country, so they’ve now decided to make this the main campaign message out of Georgia.

She lists off his energy credentials, which consists of ‘being good’, ‘independent’ and “not a democrat”. He ‘understands’, he knows there are ‘dangers in the world’, he also will ’see us through to victory’. He ‘respects life’, as if Jim Martin enjoys killing anything with a pulse.

It’s this failing republican ideology that lost them the nation, however Georgia has been one of those states to vote for anything with an R by it’s name because they go to church more. While I couldn’t ever vote for someone dumb enough to accept any support from someone like Palin I’m of the belief that many in Georgia will vote for Saxby anyway. This can’t be good for him though, as Sarah Palin was a principal motivator in democratic circles to get more involved I would expect Jim Martin’s campaign offices are filled with people just like Obama’s were.

Fuck this noise I’m going to go play the new Chrono Trigger.

2. I'm not going to watch. I have had enough of this woman. I always
end up feeling a little ill. It distrubs my Obama high. I don't want to hear Bush anymore either. If he comes on the radio I run and turn it down.

Palin implores Ga. Republicans to back Chambliss

* AP foreign, Monday December 1 2008

By SHANNON McCAFFREY

Associated Press Writer= AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) - Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin implored Georgia Republicans to back Sen. Saxby Chambliss in his hotly contested Senate runoff, telling a cheering crowd Monday that the first step in rebuilding the GOP begins with the Southern state. The former vice presidential candidate made her first campaign appearance since the Republican ticket of John McCain and Palin lost on Nov. 4.

Palin's four stops for Chambliss underscored not only the stakes for the GOP in the Senate race but Palin's popularity within the party. She has been mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2012 — a fact not lost on some Georgia voters.

Several thousand supporters waited in the cold to file into the James Brown Arena in Augusta. Vendors sold bright pink "Palin 2012" T-shirts and "Palin for President: You Go Girl" buttons. She was greeted like a rock star with chants of "Sa-rah!"

"Georgia the eyes of America are upon you," the former vice presidential candidate said. "We all have Georgia on our minds."
