We're all talking about the Kitty Kelley book but on Monday, a potentially far more damaging book is being released.

Called Chain of Command : The Road from 9/11 to Abu Ghraib, the book is by Seymour Hersh, the journalist who broke the Abu Graib story. Among Hersh's revelations: Condi Rice and Rummy knew about the tortures going on, long before the public did, and did nothing about it.

Hersh is a widely respected journalist, who won the Pulitzer Prize for breaking the My Lai massacre.

Should be interesting to see what happens.

Didn't Hersch say there were videos of rapes.

Can you imagine having copies of those videos?

Do you believe leaking them would endanger our troops?

I'd be scared out of my mind if I had a copy. Imagine the amount of work the Pentagon has done to determine whether copies exist. They've probably reconstructed events a zillion times, grilling those guards who had the videos, where they were kept, who had access to them, etc.

But at the same time, imagine the power. Leaking them at the opportune moment would sway the course of history.
