God bless America!

I am simply stunned, in happy tears, in how well President Obama has handled all of this so far...I never supported Hillary for anything before, I am so damn proud she will work to BRING PEACE to the world!

P.S. I love Biden TOO!

3. I am proud, too. I'm especially proud of Barack and Hillary. They
are showing the way forward by example. Talk about moral clarity! Obama has chosen his cabinet based on their strengths rather than on political gamesmanship. He is assembling a government that actually works and accomplishes its directives.

This personality cult is part of the problem. It is not the people, it is the ideas.

9. We are in such good hands
I swear I've been sleeping so much better at night and no...Oh, boy. I already had my Christmas present for the next 4 years when Obama got elected- Now I feel spoiled rotten.

HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY

ohhhhhh, and one small and petty moment for me, please:

Dear Sarah,

you know that mantle you were going to take over from HRC?

SUCK IT.

Remember when you scolded her on national tv as a whiner???

SUCK it.

Thank you, PE Obama -- We now have a strong, kick ass woman in charge. A great example for young girls.

Mantle NOT given to anyone else. Ceiling PWNED.

Bite it, Palin.

11. Did ya notice the press trying to bring up the contentious comments Barack and Hillary made
during the campaign? Our President-Elect shut them down immediately.

Also, am I the only one who watched them in the primaries, and inferred their admiration for each other? Barack and Hillary have been friends for a long time, they're both over 45 and understand the in the contex of campaigning against each other, a lot of mud is slung around. I remember one debate where they had sniped at each other all night, then she ended to say she said she was honored to be on stage with him. He met her gaze and shook her hand--and the look that passed between them showed the mutual affection and admiration.

I do think that Barack is not so thrilled with Bill Clinton, though. I have a feeling that any heel-dragging to offer her State was because of Bill and not just his global initiative. PE Obama probably needed a lot of reassurance that Pres Clinton would know his place!

13. I think that you are right
that Obama likes/admires/respects Hillary more than Bill.

I truly hope (and am starting to believe) that Bill Clinton knows that the success of his wife as Secretary of State in an Obama administration will be the polish on his very tarnished legacy.

I find myself defending the Clintons all of the time on DU, but of course, I'm not an idiot or blind and Bill has proven to be, uhhh, shall we say, compulsive at times.

But I think that he knows that he owes her after what he put her through under the public microscope and this is what gives me hope that he will step to the side, shut his mouth and let her do her job.

Let's just hope that our Party stays tough and follows through now....and produces on their promises to change things.

20. I pretty much stopped listening to the GOP or anything
associated with them. I really don't care what they think. I will get back into it in about a year or so...Right now, I want to enjoy our win!

Even after the horror of Mumbai, and more bad news about our miserable economy, I feel a sense of peace and serenity. We're in good hands again. :)
