After Obama takes office, will Dems in Congress still let GOP & Wall St. set economic policy?

Right now, they seem to still be taking their cues from Bush, and even putting conditions on Detroit, while admirable in itself, is in stark contrast to epic amounts of money given to Wall Street with essentially no oversight or demand that they change how they do business, nor even a ritual humiliation of Wall St. CEO's or token prosecution for fraud or RICO of execs at Bear Sterns, Lehman Brothers, AIG, Goldman Sachs, or any of the rest.

Will the Democrats finally give up their strategy of surrender after Obama takes office, or will they say they can't get anything done until they get a super-super unanimous majority because as long as there is one republican left in Congress, he will be the one who sets the agenda not them?
