Christine Romer looked overjoyed. Larry Summers bounced on his toes.

At Obama's press conference, the camera focused on Romer while Obama was listing her accomplishments and talents. She was obviously so delighted to have been chosen! Then there was Larry. I swear that man never stood still. He shifted and jiggled and looked around nervously. Standing to Obama's right, he was often inthe picture when Obama was speaking and he was very distracting.

Next time, if he must be present, line him up further away from our President.

And congratulations to you Mr. President for adding two beautiful and talented women to your team! You are helping this American get through this difficul time in our history...
