None of the Cabinet Positions are "Official", yet. Here Are Some Progressives Under Consideration
-Oregon Congressman Peter DeFazio is reportedly on the short list for Secretary of Transportation. He’s currently the chair of the House subcommittee on Highways and Transit. He is also being considered for FAA chief.

-Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) has emerged as a leading contender for Interior Secretary in the next administration.

-Congresswoman Linda Sanchez is a candidate for Secretary of Labor.

-Congresswoman Hilda Solis is a candidate for the Environmental Protection Agency

-Texas Assemblyman Juan Garcia as a good contender for Secretary of the Navy.

-Rep. Xavier Becerra has been mentioned as a candidate for labor secretary.

-The Obama team is zeroing in on the Department of Housing and Urban Development, where at least four Latino candidates are said to be under consideration: Miami Mayor Manny Diaz; Adolfo Carrion Jr., a longtime figure in New York politics and borough president of the Bronx; Saul Ramirez Jr., a former deputy HUD secretary; and Judge Nelson A. Diaz, a former HUD general counsel.

-Some foreign policy watchers perceive some activities by John Podesta, Susan Rice, Russ Feingold and Donald Payne marketing several people for posts in African affairs.

-Environmental activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been mentioned as possible head of EPA.

Those are just a few from Congress that are being considered. So, let's let this play out, see who gets the jobs, and what kind of policies are implemented.
