What about Richardson?

Is he going to end up with anything?

Seems like he surely should be used in the admin?!

1. He'll be the next SoS after Clinton.
And possibly main 2016 presidential contender.

2. Yeah, really. Well, there are a lot of posts to be decided yet, but he SHOULD.

I mean, he was one of the Dems I supported for president early on ... he's got experience in so many different areas of government -- he can do anything.

I want him to get a good job in the Obama admin.

3. Someone on the TeeVee mentioned National Security Adviser
I think just to piss off the Hillbots.

I don't like it. It would certainly be a "Team of Rivals", but it would also end the myth of NoDramaObama.

4. Can he be Secretary of Defense? Sorry but Gates is a Republican
and the spoils go to the winner. I say Richardson for Defense and if you need a Republican in the Cabinet then send Christy Todd Whitman to the United Nations.

5. Richardson will be Secretary of State
I have personal confirmation of that from two anonymous sources, so you can take that to the bank. And start 200 threads about it.

7. I have heard someone say National Security Advisor,
which would be very interssting iven that Clinto and Biden are going to be their own Team of Rivals on the Diplomatic front. It would certainly signal something different to the world anout ho the US intends to use the big stick.

11. Why should the be rivals. The Clintons seem to love Biden and he's complimented them plenty.
Biden as VP was the perfect pick with Clinton as SOS.

8. well he has to be appointed for something cause
the Latinos who did support Obama will get upset. Wasn't he ambassador to the UN, couldn't or would he want that position again.

It's going to be a very critical appointment and he's just the right man for it.

16. I think he may have already
done that job. With so much of our economy tied to China right now, I really feel Amb to China is one of the most important positions for our new administration. It's going to take a very skilled negotiator and I think Richardson is perfect (although I wanted him for SOS for the same reasons).
