Some Repubs are wishing Obama was President already?
On the Morning Joe show this morning, Scarborough and Buchanan seemed to be wishing that Obama was the President today. They said that he could request this Congress do something about this Big Three bailout now, rather than waiting until he takes office. Bill Press said that unfortunately we only have one President at a time and Obama does not have the authority yet.

They were of the opinion that the Congress did not ask a question about giving AIG $150 billion dollars but now want to put all these qualifiers on a bailout for the middle-class. They thought we might go into a depression if these auto makers are permitted to go under? It's a big gamble. But, I guess AIG is more important to our economy than the cornerstone of our manufacturing base, what is left of it? It does make one question the competence and the intelligence of those in Congress.

Don't forget the airline industry.

3. No. What they want is to blame everything on him. The Repukes are already doing this.
Calling it the "Obama Depression" and the "Obama Recession." All the disgusting wingnuts are blaming Obama, so sure they want him as president right now, such that if anything goes wrong, they'll be justified in blaming him.
