As I watched him slurring his words before he collapsed, it appears that it could very well be a stroke.

I hope that they got him intense care immediately - time is so important if it indeed was.

hopefully they got him the right drugs to help reverse it.

13. My friend's mother was giving a speech last week and did the same exact thing--

she collapsed mid-sentence, and very sadly, died right there. She had a massive stroke that put her into cardiac arrest.

I hope Mukasey recovers.
