Hillary brings something as Secretary of State that nobody else can bring
Edited on Thu Nov-20-08 10:32 PM by CreekDog
the widely admired Clinton foreign policy and the popularity of that administration's foreign policy throughout the world.

As Secretary of State, Hillary will have a stature that no other prospect for the post has.

Regarding her loyalty, Hillary has shown that when she signs on for something she'll fight harder for it than anybody else. Yes, Obama can trust her.

And if you don't believe that last part, if he can't trust her, then no better position to have her in than one in which her success is tied directly to his.

I keep telling you that Barack Obama has got this!

(this guy is fun to watch)

5. "...the popularity of that administration's foreign policy throughout the world."
Are you fucking KIDDING me?!?!

Bombing the shit out of (the once) Yugoslavia.

Constant bombing of Iraq.

Plan Colombia.

It is the odd, but enduring, conceit of the Masters of the World that those over whom they lord it over, are grateful and in accord with the Masters' goals.

They cannot conceive of the fact that the common people on whom their bombs fall are not so very enamoured of the Masters' policies.

geeesh...

16. My main concern about Hillary is that
She doesnt ACTUALLY have a lot of foreign policy experience. She visited a lot of places, but that isnt really experience. She wasn't on the foreign relations committee and she hasnt negotiated anything.

I agree though that she will be respected and wont go rogue for her own good.
