Franken has been gaining more votes during the recount in some Coleman counties, than in counties that went for him according to the Star Tribune charts.

but aren't even half-way finished.

And, looking at the results, some of Franken's biggest gains are coming from counties he lost. Like Dakota county. Franken lost there by a considerable margin, but has picked up a net 32 votes there, due to a bunch of Coleman ballots being tossed.

55. Actually most votes from the big democratic strongholds are not in yet.

Hennepin County (Minneapolis) has only reported 42% of their votes, Ramsey County (St. Paul)has counted 30%, and St. Louis County (Duluth and Iron Range)has counted 36%. These are the three most heavily Democratic counties in the state, and we still have a lot of votes left to be counted in them.

the day's final result.

This recount is going to go on for weeks. 2.9 million paper ballots all examined one at a time by hand. Long, tedious, on and on and on...
