2. No...there is no constitutional way to recall Senators or Representatives...
SOme states have recall laws, but they are not enforceable...though in some states such as Arizona candidates typically pledge to abide by a recall vote and resign...

3. No. They asked for this, they get it. Which would be okay, if it didn't affect the rest of us. nt

4. I don't believe they can. They'll have to wait for Joe to get beaten at the polls.

5. senator is a Federal Office and the rules are in the US constitution.
If you have read our constitution then you know there is no provision for recall in the US constitution.

10. 2012
Senator Lieberman was re-elected in 2006, therefore his seat will be up for election in 2012. His term of office expires on January 3, 2013.

8. In A Word: No
There are no recall processes over federal officers.

State constitutional and statute provisions on recall can only affect state-level elected officers and lower. No state can add or amend any provision for the election of federal officers.

There was a Supreme Court case in 1995 (or 1996) called Thornton v. US Term Limits. Then Arkansas Rep. Ray Thornton appealed to the Supreme Court regarding state referenda that placed term limits for state legislators and congressmen. The Supreme Court affirmed the right of states to regulate their own election processes (see 10th Amendment) but stated that states cannot add additional requirements for the election of US Representatives and Senators.

There was a half-baked recall effort around 2002 or thereabouts in Arizona against John McCain. Even IF the recall had made it to the ballot and 99% of people had voted for his ouster, it would have no effect as states have zero jurisdiction over the election, removal or discipline of members of congress, save for the appointment of US Senators in the event of a vacancy (see 17th Amendment).
