9. Yes ... Bill has been vetted too ... Many times ....
I just had a thought .... Everyday; DUers 'vett' each other ...

We see those who are inclusive and empowering ...

And we see those who are negative and divisive ....

Yep .... Consider yourself vetted ....

16. Frankly .... I have NO PROBLEM with the Clinton's being fully vetted ...
I would expect that from the President Elect ....

My objection is to the Clinton Hate Parade, on full display, here and now, in DU ....

The knives are being sharpened as we type ...

Could we enjoy a unified and integrated party for at least a few moments ? ....

HAH ! .... right ....

Same as it ever was .....

It's the same as it ever was ....

6. Which is why HRC ain't gonna be SoS
I don't think Big Dawg wants to be examined to the degree O's people feel is necessary. Not because he's doing anything crooked, but he's making beaucoup bucks and those sorts of things are always complicated.

33. Actually, probably not.
Several Republicans on FOX said today that they thought that Hillary would fly through the senate hearing and one of them was the current Chairman of the party. It's the LW who's having palpitations, not the Repugs.

27. Not meant as a slam of HRC at all
But I am sure WJC's financial affairs and those of his foundation are not simple, and the Obama people, justifiably, want to make damned sure that there are no conflicts of interest or questionable dealings in the immediate families of people who are named to cabinet posts. I think potential conflicts of interest, not whatsoever of a sinister or illegal nature, might arise with Bill.

they claim not to know whether an offer has or has not been made, and don't take news reports from from anonymous aides as proof ipso facto (just wanted to put out here that there are other perspectives to this). Then again for all I know there are posters here that were in the room when this discussion was supposed to have occurred and know the intimate details....

vetting is required for the SOS position, and Hillary is interested in it AND (most importantly) if Obama is interested in having her in that position, then she obviously would (and should) be subjected to the same vetting process as any other potential candidate for the job. So, what's your problem?
