If Kerry's so behind... then why
did i see NINE (count 'em) kerry bumperstickers on the way home tonight?

that's a record by the way, in the less than 3 mile drive, IN GEORGIA no less!

think of an old adage from the dean days --> the revolution will not be televised.

3. Here in Temecula, Ca (SoCal )...
I have seen far more Kerry stickers than Bush/Cheney stickers...and this is a conservative enclave.

4. It's Somewhat Frightening To Contemplate That The System Is That Corrupted
But I do believe it is. They can create the illusion of the opposite of reality.

5. He is behind, but not by a lot
and I suspect the race will be even again by the end of next week. It takes two weeks for convention bounces to fade.

6. Bumper stickers mean little when it comes to this kind of thing
I live in Chicago and the only sign I saw on the way home was a Bush/Cheney sign, in CHICAGO no less!

Does this mean that Bush might win Illinois? No, it means that someone in Chicago is a Republican and wants to rub it in the liberals' faces around here.

I imagine it's the same for the people in Georgia. In the worst case scenario, you and the eight might be the only votes we get in that state.

12. it was nine not 8
but yeh, sure, that's the case. but why be so cynical?

the fact that i hear how kerry's losing big time, i get in my car in a 5 minute drive in georgia and see nine bumper stickers, i think it's telling, that's all.

will kerry win georgia? umm, no, and bush won't win ny.

my point is, there's a rumbling out there, people aren't as asleep as you think, and kerry's not as far behind as the media wants you to think.

but sure, these bumperstickers aren't a sign of the election results in georgia. and that wasn't my point.

by the way, kerry'll get a few more than eight votes here.

No * stickers...(except on cars from Texas)

Kerry/Edwards all over the place!

I actually saw a Toyota 4 Runner with "Redefeat Bush" in foot high orange letters in it's back window this afternoon...

Santa Fe is Kerry country!

14. I've seen about a dozen * stickers in So. Cal, but three of them were...
on the same Hummer and everyone was laughing at him and giving him the finger (or at least I was). I'd estimate the ratio to be about 5-1 for Kerry 'round heeah.
