I want a moment erected in Washington that details the state of this nation
the day that George W Bush leaves office on 20 January 2009 so that come 2012 we may point to it so all may see and know the exact clusterfuck which Barack Obama inherited. Come 2012 I want there to be no doubt or debate as to how bad things were in 2009 and exactly who was responsible.

1. It would be nice to have

a collapsed Bush suit and out of it burst a colorful, hopeful butterfly. I will make a mosaic of this and show you. Words are limiting. What about someone dragging their foot, like there is dog doo on it and it has bush's face.

3. A moment's erection is easy.
Alas, an hour's is but a distant memory.

7. Are we talking Viagra or "angel lust"?
In the latter case, you might want to call a coroner or mortician. Lord knows I won't be able to.

I'd never heard of "angel lust" until I did a few minutes research in preparation of this response, so, thanks for the inspiration. :hi:

Gives me something with which to liven up my next department meeting.

6. It's best when the moment seems right.
The older I get, the more I wish for such moments.

When I was 22, a damned streetlight going green meant the moment was right.

Now? Not so much.

8. I'm sorry, but that's just too unusual for me.
Why can't you people just stay in the recovering streetlight fetishist group?

:silly:

5. there were large poster boards in front of the Lincoln Memorial this week
so that folks could write their congratulations to Obama... that was kind of cool. I don't know if that is standard Operating procedure when a new Pres. is elected...
