So, do you think its necessary for Obama to keep a big secret about his
possible administration? I figured it was extremely important during a campaign.. but his whole election was about accountability and more access. Perhaps its not so important now to keep a lid on things? What do you think?
1. I think it's important to keep the cards close to the chest througout
the vetting and selection process. This helps prevent a lot of second guessing after the fact. However, once a decision on a position is made, I believe it should be made public as soon as possible.
and speculation about the shape of the new administration gives presence to that administration. I think it works up some excitement and some interest to hear names of such stature hit the news. It helps ya to forget that that other asshole is still there. All we need to know on that subject is covered by Rachel's Lame Duck Watch.
