ya know, folks, the more we talk about this alleged forgery . . .
the more we take away from discussion of real issues . . . we're doing exactly what BushCo wants, and what we accuse (with good reason) the press and the media of doing on a daily basis . . .

can't we just drop it? . . . and move on to things like the war, the economy, Bush's private police force, the general rise of fascism, the environment, outsourcing, Social Security and Medicare, healthcare in general, etc? . . . you know, things that actually matter? . . .

1. it is out of our control. If the media wasn't talking about this
they would be talking about laci pterson, kobe bryant, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, and other stories of great importance

2. for every forgery thread how about we post one about a substantive issue?
In fact, if you just have to keep talking about this, using Rove's talking points, be sure to post something rock solid concerning the actual issues in this campaign.

7. good one, goodhue - I just kicked it back on top of the pile
I'd really like to see easy to remember talking points posted each day, throughout the day.

Kerry has tons on his website - we could post them in simpler language if necessary.

Rove's mantra of the day involves getting people to attack us and expecting we'll spend time and energy defending Kerry.

Having a crisp Kerry talking point in your head helps to play offense on these people, and sometimes you can turn them to your way of thinking.

8. thanks for the bump
apparently what Kerry is actually saying today on the campaign trail is not very compelling. Now about those 1960s typewriters . . .

3. Ok here is where this matters
it is part of a pattern of deception... now here is the memme

Bush has lied about his guard service, he has lied about the economy, he has lied about the reasons to war, he has lied about social security, he has lied about medicare... what else is this man going to lie about?

10. Plus
I think the issue is a zero with voters.

Everything Dubya did before he found Jesus doesn't count, remember?

I think we're better off focusing on the last four years and the next four years.
