campaign rhetoric. Shameful but not shocking. Does one of them have a conscience? Not one of them brings up the fact that Palin's hateful October speeches directly correlated to a rise in "threats" to Obama's life as reported by the Secret Service.

Palin and McCain should be held accountable by some brave soul. not clowning around with Leno or cooking with Lauer.

1. What happened to "going back to Alaska, get back to work"?
Went home for 2 days, back on the road trying to rehab her image. Sick of looking at the both of them. CNN, MSNBC 24/7.

2. You should've heard NPR this morning...
There was a report on how Obama was so successful because he tapped into the power of the internet and recruited millions of volunteers. In doing so, he bypassed the "so-called media filter." The NPR "reporter" really stressed "so called." Then the very next story was a gush-fest for Sarah as the NPR "professionals" talked about the how the GOP can make a come back following a time of introspection.

I thought, "so-called" indeed!

3. yeah
It's annoying to have to see all these fluffy pieces on Palin cooking moose stew and McCain telling lame jokes to Leno, without anyone holding them accountable.

David Shuster did say to SC Governor Mark Sanford earlier today "You witnessed first hand the tactics that were used against John mcCain in 2000 in South Carolina, and he told journalists like myself that he would never resort to similar tactics. Were you surprised or disappointed by the turn his campaign took in the last couple of months?" Sanford avoided answering and just said that it was up to others to write a post script on the campaign, but I thought it was a nice try at least by Shuster
