Edited on Tue Nov-11-08 11:28 PM by PretzelWarrior
if you have a nice clean list of states with their current electoral count, that would be GREAATTTT (my best Lumsford impression), mmmkaayyyyy?.

I'd also like to make this a catch-all post by saying the following:

Thank you to DU administrators and those contributors who make this site so uplifting. I can honestly say this was about THE ONLY bastion of freedom where I could talk with like minded people in 2003 when most of the country had gone mad. I felt our country was being held hostage and no one was reflecting those views. Sometimes we forget how barren the landscape was prior to Daily Show getting a little more overt in it's attacks/parodies of Bush Junta. Prior to Air America in 2004 (another HUGE God send that was too late for 04 election cycle but helped inform people in time for 06 and this year). Prior to Rachel Maddow on MSNBC. About the only one on the cable universe who was showing some guts back then was Olberman.

I'd also like to congratulate Frenchie Cat. You worked feverishly and tirelessly to keep people focused on important issues and help us in our efforts to keep media honest. I know this victory means so much to you as it does to many here.

I would like to say I am personally tired of Sarah Palin. The more quickly we dismiss her as an oddity of our times in 2008 and move on, the more quickly she loses her power. If we get ourselves in a lather about her, she is used by GOP as a fund raising tool even more effectively. I know it's fun to laugh at her, but we've got a new mission here at DU.

This is our first time at DU where we will have undivided Democratic federal government. It seems denizens of DU will have to look for productive channels for all that energy that had been used to fight the smears as we got the country pointing in a better direction.

1. Try the map at CNN - link below
http://www.cnn.com/POLITICS/

You can hover the cursor over each state and get percentages, EVs, etc.

You can also go for www.fivethirtyeight.com or www.pollster.com or www.electoral-vote.com
