I did my part here in Oregon to oust Gordon Smith. But I am just too excited that my former home state not only went blue, but booted Elizabeth Dole. North Carolina, you've come a long way since Harvey Gantt vs. Jesse Helms, the filthiest campaign I have ever personally witnessed.
