Wake Up, Folks, You're Watching a Side Show
This is something that I was going to post as an answer on one of the other countless threads about "The Documents", but as was the case the muse took me to another place.

The following is solely my opinion and not those of the Management, Sponsors or ushers. Here goes: (AAAHEEEEMMMM, Sorry, had to clear the throat).

I agree the documents have all the earmarkings of being typed, but,

WHO THE HELL CARES!!!!!

Other than showing that Karl Rove is replaying the last battle (Gore 2000 debategate), what else is there....Ok maybe Bush disobeyed an order and fooled around, but the "ordinary folks" out there are saying, (cue Reagan Imitation) "Well, that's our Georgie."

This whole thing is deliberate distraction.

Look at the poll numbers, ordinary folks believe:

1)Country is headed in wrong direction,

2)Bush is doing a lousy job,

3)The economy is faltering,

4)The "I'm still fearful for my job" syndrome is prevalent throughout the nation,

5)Two Words: "Healthcare Costs",

and so on and so forth.

THESE ARE THE ISSUES, like it or not, that will put Kerry into the White House. This election should be about where We the People are going, not about which side came up with the better dirt during the last two months!!!

My Grandmother used to say, "You catch more flies with honey, than you do with vinegar." Wise woman, her.

Kerry needs to stay on the HIGH ROAD, yes, but being on that trail doesn't mean you can't pitch a few rocks now and again. But the rocks have to be thrown at your target, and those targets are Bush's performance on the issues I listed above.

Wrestling with pigs just get you dirty, and the pig enjoys it, right? So, fight this fight as a "Good Fight". Remember, a Second Term Election should be about the performance of a President's First Term and where America wants to go in the future.

If Kerry and his surrogates (US) can highlight the problems with the Record of Bush's First Term AND provide answers that make common sense to the ISSUES listed above, he'll win, no doubt about, take it to the bank, and bet the farm on that hand, Son, sure he will.

That's my over-inflated .02

A media that is bent on persuing each and every one of Carl Roves diversions?
Would love to know how we can make these issues real.
I call them my 5 E's

Election that is fair.
I wish is could come up with and E for Iraq and Healt Care.

10. Needs a little work, but
Edited on Fri Sep-10-04 02:23 PM by maine_raptor
don't take that as a put down, please.

Nope needs a combination, something else.....

What's Kerry been saying, W for Wrong, right, (no, wrong, right, no wrong...who's on first)

So combine the W in Wrong with your E and what do do have?

W as in WE The People

example, Education.......WE = Wrong on Education

See, simple, really

And now back to our show.....

2. agreed! and as my grandmother used to say:
"When two people get in a shit fight, neither comes out smelling like roses."

(Ok my grandmother didn't say that, but I sure wish she had!!!)

The truth is, Kerry IS sticking to the issues. Its the press that's not.

11. The pukes insist on being pigs
Where did they all come from? I swear it's like Eugene Ionesco's classic play 'Rhinoceros'.

Pigs and rhinoceros are in the same family, aren't they?

13. Nobody Gives a Rat's Ass about the forgery/non-forgery issue
Dems have again been successfully sucked into a giant black hole, thus wasting energy that could have been expended pounding Smirk on real issues.

If we have learned anything from Repuke tactics, it is "slime and run". Whether it's true or not is meaningless.

American voters have the attention span of a fucking gnat.

Just get on with it. NO ONE will spend five seconds looking at this shit.

14. AMEN! . . . we're doing exactly what BushCo wants . . .
which is to discuss anything but the real issues . . . we're doing exactly what we accuse (with good reason) the press and the media of doing on a daily basis . . . we need to stop it, and move on to discussing issues that actually matter . . .

15. This has to burn itself out.
It's like yelling at a forest fire. We'll get back to the real issues when the media beast lets us.

this whole thing is a smoke screen and a distraction so much so I almost wonder if chimp is behind the whole thing. I am sick of all this stuff from 30+ years ago and I bet the public is too. I can just see voters eyes glazing over as they lose more and more interest in the election.

Get back to the REAL issues!
