What is wrong with the American people? What happened to our quiet confidence? I thought we were leaders, not scared cowards.

Why is Bush promoting terror?

1. Bush stated after 9/11 that we should not change our lifestyle and just go about life so as not to allow terrorists to win. Since then he hasn't stopped REMINDING us that we should be afraid of the terrorists and that they should influence our life in every possible way.

2. Bush rightly went into Afghanistan BUT he didn't persue OBL to the ends of the Earth as he should have. The idiot then invaded a country that was anything but a terrorist threat. Now, not only is OBL free to kill again, but we are weakened dramatically by occupying two countries at once - Iraq now being turned into a terrorist outfit by Bush.

3. OBL is nothing more than a mob leader with deep pockets - but Dubya has promoted him into God and the Devil all at once.

4. Bush talked endlessly about the "War on Terra" at his convention, but he NEVER ONCE mentioned OBL. So, we are now fighting fear itself since there is no longer a real enemy.

Bush & his minions continue to try to scare people at every possible opportunity creating a fake patriotism and a wildly jingoistic environment that promotes a "lynch mob" like atmosphere in the greatest country on Earth. Our worst emotions are being exploited in our weakest and most easily influenced people - the signature of a Bannana Republic. Thanks Dumbya for reducing our nation to the angry simple-mindedness of the terrorists.

1. A climate of fear makes folks afraid to change the leader they know for

the one they don't. It will be interesting to see how all these hurricanes will affect the election. Which way will it go? Fear of our environment or fear of Osama and outside "terra" attacks. :shrug:
