1. I had a fairly neutral opinion on Gulliani before that speech.

Now I just think he's a whiny asshole.

2. Well
it came back and bit them in the ass, didn't it. If they learned anything from this election, it's this: don't mess with a community organizer.

I thought, frankly, she had a lot of chutzpah for giving such a hateful and venomous acceptance speech even by Republican standards. If the Repubicans were wanting to put a more "moderate" woman-friendly face on their party and promote their nomination of a woman as VP then they failed MISERABLY! In regards to the community organizers comment specifically, I thought that that was completely tasteless, demeaning, and, frankly, totally unnecessary. It's one thing to say that you oppose Obama and his policies (and by extension those of the Democratic Party) but to malign an entire group of people whom have probably done far more for far more people than she probably EVER WILL just seemed.........wrong to me (maybe it's the Social Worker part of me talking here).

The fact that Obama, a former community organizer himself, beat them so handily, is simply delicious irony of the highest order! ;-)

5. We did the community organizing for this election. They did not.
So they can laugh all they want, as they sit on the sidelines of power.

7. They should have HAD community organizers.
If they had, they might not have lost.

Why waste time hating, when you know we got the last laugh?

16. Palin mocking Obama's organizing experience - deserves serious payback.
I get very angry thinking about Palin and her smug face as she laid one insult after another upon Obama. The gall of someone who went to 6 different schools to graduate with a journalism degree and was the most ignorant, uncurious, narrow-minded, shallow, and downright perverted and creepy politician ever, to criticize the most important and brilliant political figure in American in 40 years.
