What a great picture of Joe Biden at the Return Day Parade in Georgetown DE
For those of you who are like :wtf: Return Day Parade? It's a traditional in south Delaware where all the candidates of both parties come out and join in a parade where they are suppose to bury the hatchet.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Return_day
Ceremonial Burying of the Hatchet
Playing off the figure of speech "to bury the hachet" (meaning to put aside differences), the Sussex County chairmen of each political party meet on stage to literally bury a hatchet. The chairmen each clutch the hatchet and together plunge it into a box of sand.

--------------------------------------

Anyhow, Joe Biden was part of the Return Day parade which made this year's ceremony extra special. I'm guessing neither Sarah Palin or Christine O'Donnell (she ran against him for senate this year) made an appearance. But Joe is all class!

4. Both, and we love and value him very much.
He will soon resign his senate seat. A chapter of Delaware history closed and another new chapter opened.

6. Its Joe the next VP!
He looks great riding in a carriage. We are in good hands for the next 4 years-it feels wonderful that our new VP will not be a dangerous neo con gun shooter. :)
