California Governor to raise sales tax in the state by 1.5%. Imagine a
Republican Governor raising taxes.
That makes sales tax 10% in San Francisco.

Our state budget is a bit out of control, to say the least.

9. Not that surprising.
Only Republicans with their heads so far up their own asses that they've turned inside out can't sometimes see the need to raise taxes, or to at least not cut taxes, like during a war, for example.

7. How about an inter-bank transfer tax? Charge an extra 20% for the Cayman Islands.

Then the rich can't avoid taxation or they
won't be able to make their condo mortgage
payments in Bermuda.

10. I'm in a Republican county, and Republicans voted...
...for another sales tax increase, when they had just got done voting for one in the past few years. It's done under the guise that it will affect mostly tourists, so they will end up paying the taxes to fund our schools, and in turn, our property taxes will get cut or something.

That sure sounds like "spreading the wealth" to me! Dumbasses.
