You know, it's one thing if people question the Kerry campaign,
perhaps saying that Kerry could be doing one thing or another differently to position himself better to win. I do that all the time, and we definitely need to be doing it.

It's something entirely different when we have people here undermining our attacks against Bush.

I understand that we have an interest in learning the truth- I'm highly interested in such things myself (and, ultimately, nothing matters more to me). We can't make allegations that obviously are not true, and we should make an effort to make sure that that doesn't happen.

But if there is even the SLIGHTEST possibility that these allegations, or any other allegations against Bush, are true, we need to do everything we can to push them. We KNOW who these people are that we are going up against, we know what they stand for. We know that they are RELENTLESS, and have no qualms about lying through their teeth about ANYTHING that might even give them the slightest leg up on us. And I maintain that those memos are 100% authentic.

Those who maintain that these documents are forgeries, in light of the paltry evidence presented to us, in my mind are traitors to the Democratic Party, and don't belong here. Saying those kinds of things, undermining the morale of the board, taking the side of the REPUBLICANS, is totally unacceptable.

1. A few of them are likely Sleeper Freepers
and they need to be investigated and nuked by the administrators.

3. I think after 4000 posts about how good the economy is
you no longer deserve to be classified as a "sleeper"

2. I don't have a problem with people taking a "wait and see" attitude
However, there are some people that are bound and determined to convince us all that the documents ARE false. Unless CBS News actually comes out and retracts its story, then I'll be operating under the assumption that these kind of people are disruptors.

5. What we know is true
Barnes pulled strings to get him into the Guard. Bush didn't show up for duty in Alabama. Bush disobeyed orders to get his flight physical and was grounded. We know these things from official documents, am I right? So that should be the focus and we should holler it from the rooftops. Stop letting them frame the debate.

6. Thank you! Really getting tired of people aiding...
these efforts to discredit these docs. Again, I trust 60 minutes to be thorough in their research. To suggest that they forged documents is laughable. And if they've been had by Rove and Co....well, it seems like 60 minutes is not the news program you want to piss off.
