When will the torment end? Will they have to stay employed and face increased buying power as well?!?

Edited on Thu Nov-06-08 10:06 PM by ZeitGuy
My guess is that those tears probably stem from the knowledge of what's waiting for them at home. And in that respect, I most certainly felt sorry for those children.

However, I feel no sorrow for voting-age adults who backed McCain/Palin, for reasons I stated in response to Skip Intro, below.

14. I feel bad for them
that's just me, tho

I don't like unhappiness, I don't like disappointment, I don't like dispair, on anyone's face.

I wish we could all get on the same team for once - the human team. I wish we could all welcome them in somehow, show them another way than they've known, and make them smile again, not from the joy they once felt from the defeat and suffering of those they deem to be outside their perfect circle, but from the overwhelming feeling of humanity, oneness, coming home, unity.

Ah, yeah, go ahead and shoot that balloon down, I got another one.

:)

15. Actually, I understand and appreciate the sentiment.
Then again, they supported a man whose entire campaign was built upon race-baiting, lies, slander, innuendo, character assassination and a complete lack of substance. A guy who cavalierly caved in to the frothy-mouthed evangelical base of his party and anointed a redneck, fundamentalist, comical farce of an idiot as his running mate -- to mark his first "presidential" decision.

So, I guess that's where my sympathy for them ends.

At about the two-second mark, roughly.

29. No one here is interesting in "crushing" these people, friend.
They're American citizens, who need to be shown the error of their ways and assured that they are not being threatened by an Obama presidency. They are entitled to have their rights protected as much as any one of us. To say otherwise tells me that you may wish to rethink whether this place is for you.

and they got a beautiful night. During the repig convention a hurricane hit the country.

Did the reich wing listen? Oh hell no of course not!

McKKKain and Mooselini just got slapped down by a pissed off public sick of the lies, slander, wars and the destruction of the middle class.

The damn repigs don't want answers because that would conflict with their Reagan voodoo economic theories and their Scrooge like social policy's.
