Anyone else having trouble adjusting to post-election mode?
Seriously. Every mention of Obama I see, my mind darts to a consideration of the political-electoral impact of what's going on. I have the desperate urge to visit pollster.com and intrade and rcp and so on. Any thoughts on how to reconcile with Tuesday's victory and move on?

1. Yes.
It's going to be a long 75 days.

I'm focusing somewhat on the runoff here in Georgia.

5. Things feel... different. I don't know how to explain it.
I'm happy, I still tear up when I hear and see Obama's speech on election night.
But after following this election so closely for most of this year, now I don't seem to know what to do with myself.

badly in need of a debriefing and a psych-eval and a long vacation

i actually clicked a channel on my tv that WASN'T cnn, msnbc or fox, and the tv literally said "huh? dude, wtf?"

9. I miss Obama.
Yes, I know that sounds stupid and pathetic, but I was kind of used to watching his campaign speeches every day. I miss Joe, too. I can't wait until Obama/Biden are finally in the White House.

10. I know what you mean...
I am worrying about Florida and Ohio...it's going to be close....what does RCP say about this state? And then I remind myself that it is over...I cannot get myself out of the election mode....I need to see the latest polls...damn it...I am crazy as hell.

13. I was so desperate for Obama to win and this whole American nightmare to be
over that I cannot say I'm going through withdrawl at all. Plus it is still exiciting. I'm sure I'll continue to be warmed by the fire of a real government and a real Presidency that I'll never feel anything is missing (Plus I live in Canada so couldn't volunteer anywhere so I was only involved online).
