So let me get this straight
Edited on Thu Sep-09-04 11:06 PM by jpgray
Someone had knowledge of Bush's commanding officer and an ability to forge his signature. This person had enough knowledge of AF document style to fool CBS, and was aware of private conversations Bush's CO had with others at the time that are not in the public record.

So after accumulating all this knowledge and preparing a document good enough to take a major news network for a ride, he sits down at Microsoft Word and just types the bugger out there?

Either this is a 'tap my own phones' dirty trick by Rove, or the docs are legit. No other scenario seems plausible to me.

1. Also...
Why wouldn't the White House question their validity-- or at least the content? Something really stinks about this whole thing.

5. WaPo sources 'internet doubts' on the docs
And note WaPo has only had experts look at them for a day, whereas CBS says they vetted them with handwriting and typographic experts for weeks.

8. Drudge ran with it today.
I imagine that's their 'Internet source,' since he once had an actual scoop. Now, whether Smudge got his info from FR, who knows?

2. And impersonates or coerces the commanding officer himself
into making the statement to the CBS reporter that Killian was telling him those things at the time.

4. Yeah, it makes no damn sense
but some people are on this "look what I figured out, I'm so smart" kick.

The docs are legit, and the stupid freeperss are only keeping the story alive by continuing to obsess about it.

7. That's exactly what happened. Drudge and Fox wouldn't say so
if it weren't true (sorry folks, I've been up since 6 am and I am tired...all I have are pointless one liners to prop up my post count tonight)

11. And don't forget how they fool the White House!!!
Filled with the finest minds in our country, with access to the FBI and the CIA. Even better, since it was all a vicious lie (because that type of stuff NEVER happened), Wrong Way immediately denounces it PERSONALLY!! (Except he didn't, did he? -- oops.)
