Exit polls about on target this time
The exit polls released on Nov. 4, 2008, turned out to be close to the real vote this election. The only “swing” state that did not go the way the polls said it would was Missouri. Some of these aren’t really swing states, such as Minnesota, but it’s still interesting to view the results.

Exit polls on Nov. 4, 2008/vs. real voting totals

Pennsylvania: 57-42%/ 55-44%

Ohio: 54-45%/ 52-47%

2. Quite a difference from 2004
when exit polls showed a Kerry win by 4 points, and we all know what happening in Ohio four years ago....

3. Pollster.com also showed Indiana going for McCain in
election day exit polls on Pollster.com. But the rest, besides Missouri, was close on pollster.
