WE worked the polls and poll-watched

At Obama HQ, which moved from its little upstairs office to the huge union hall downstairs, there was a sign-in sheet, a staging area, a phone bank, data-entry area - all perfectly organized.

I said (real loudly) "Are you guys SURE this is the Democrats - you're so ORGANIZED" and everyone laughed. One lady said "well, we could tip a table over, if it would make you feel more comfortable."

Our community has gone from a tiny, dis-heartened, out-numbered, rag-tag little disorganized group who couldn't even staff all our polls to a MAJORITY party where people are FIGHTING over who "gets" to work which poll!

US troops are still in Iraq.
Osama is still dancing around the border regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Nuclear weapons are proliferating like rabbits.
The financial markets are broken.
Millions of Americans are without health care.
Millions of Americans are facing foreclosure.
Millions of Americans are without jobs or underpaid.

Can we fix it? Yes, we can.
