There is one co-worker who is a disgusting ULTRA-fundamentalist who was always sending out the chain mails. She's mad at the world today and clearly showing a 3 year olds mentality when it comes to not getting something you want. Our paths will cross today and its not going to be pretty.

The mood of the right wing co-workers says it all. I talked to one today that was depressed and deeply concerned about how taxes will now go up for businesses and how this will drive small businesses into the ground. I don't see the point in arguing with these types. I replied with at least the smart one was elected, now just wait and see, it is not going to be as bad as you think.

There are only 5 of us, and 1 is an outspoken Republican. Her sister is a quiet Republican, just stays out of it. But it would get explosive and words that could never be taken back would get said. Other than her politics, she is a really good friend of mine, and I'm not sacrificing that.

One other woman I work with but not in our office - I just want to call her and say, 'Gloat, gloat.' And leave it at that. I live in a county with 13,000+ Dems and 3,000+ Republicans, so what do they expect? :)

Plenty of support from international customers and contacts, several of whom I consider close friends. One from the UK called me at 1:00AM EST to congratulate me and say that he watched the whole thing play out from beginning to end - that the election was too important for the world.
