Who else lost it when they saw Jessie Jackson crying?
I'm a middle aged suburban white guy, who was holding it together until they showed Mr. Jackson....I cried like a baby. I noticed that my 17 year old daughter was also crying.

Last night was some night.

6. He just got sandbagged by Faux
Like so many others, sadly.

Yes, I lost it too. I heard this morning that his son may be getting Obama's seat in the senate!

9. I did. The tears of Oprah, John Lewis and Rev. Jackson moved me last night.
Eugene Robinson's words were quite extraordinary as well.

Baby, we've come a long way last night. The work still needs to be done.

10. I thought that was touching
but my cynical wife said "He's just thinking to himself, 'Man I wish that could have been me. it should have been me, it should have been me.' "

14. Jesse paved the way for Obama...his tears got to me....even this am
just thinking about it and the last 40 years of my life...its been such a long hard road...in 1984, I was driving and had to pull over to listen to Jacksons speech at the democratic convention...I wept then..on the side of a country road...by myself...no one is perfect..but Jackson deserves a lot of credit for getting us here..to today..

15. I lost it as well.
I was laying in bed watching when they cut over to Jesse. It made me tear up. As a white guy, I have no idea how it must feel as an African American to see Obama win. I can only read the emotions from people like Jesse Jackson to gauge how profound this election was. I'm proud to be an American more than ever today. We are one of the greatest countries in the world. God bless all of us.

16. Definitely a moving moment in a day of incredible emotion.
What about that woman, the official at Spelman College? The interviewer from, think it was MSNBC, was trying to get a statement from her, and she kept trying but she was crying so hard she could barely speak. That one just grabbed me by the back of the throat.
