McCain and Palin teams fight on Election Night

Fox News Radio just reported that on Election night Palin wanted to give a speech and introduced John McCain who would then give his concession to Obama.

The McCain camp said no! In-fact they didn't want Palin on the stage at all. After some "infighting" between the two sides, John McCain himself determined that Palin could be on the stage... but would not introduce him.

Once McCain's speech was concluded and the McCain camp left, Palin and her team remained to shake hands and talk to supporters.

Unbelievable!

I'm looking for a link to provide more information.

2. It was blatantly obvious last night that something was horribly amiss between the two
He barely even looked at her after his concession was over and limp-wristed Todd who looked like he could kill.

Pathetic subhumans, the lot of them.

5. you could see that in their body language
I was waiting for her to push him off the stage so she could take over.

I have never liked John McCain but last night, I was watching her with fear in my heart for him. He made a lot of mistakes with his campaign, but he ended it with grace and dignity. too bad she was lookiing over his shoulder like the rabid dog she is, just waiting to take over.

12. As McCain left the podium, I half-expected her to lunge for the microphone.

She did take a long look at it.

14. I saw that too!
god is she creepy.

her husband looked like he was blocking the play in his mind -- you take the microphone, I'll block mccain, you shove him with your hip right off the stage while I distract them with a Hoe the Himmler ditty.

Sarah and The Dude are jokes in and of themselves now. They need to go fade away and live life with their felonious Senator and soon-to-be indicted Rep.

was unbelievable, her face was frozen in place and he barely shook hands and touched her, it was so obvious the loathing he had for her last night

7. The joy never stops. McCain deserves all this. He caved into the fundies
and got croaked. He didn't have the balls to pick someone like Romney who may have upstaged McCain as a VP. Can't have the top of the tickey looking weaker than the VP. I couldn't be happier.

9. He got upstaged anyway...At least Romney or Huckabee would have been a team player
and I think either would have been more acceptable to moderates and independents.

11. BINGO !!!
LONG before the pick, I told people McCain would have had to get past his ego to do what would be, by far, the best he could do to win by picking Romney.

I don't buy that the Palin pick was to placate the fundies, as much as I think he went compeltely off reservation to pick someone who was NOT being pushed down his throat, who also was MILFYs.

Either way, this thing would have been A LOT different had he picked Romney as VP.

Dude, dude, dude. You have served a great purpose after all. A very public and tragic spectacle and visible lesson for all about the pitfalls of selling your soul. You are like a really bad Nathaniel Hawthorne character.

I think you still have an iota of humanity left, hope you can find it and redeem yourself. Right now, you are shit in my eyes.

21. If you read the NewYorker article from a week or so back
she did her own introduction to those neo-con insiders and that is why her name was in the hate. Kristol still defends her. She is a narcassistic opporturnist and the dems in Alaska need to hold her accountable for her wrongs and abuses there or she will pop back up.

16. It apparent that the Republicans haven't a clue.
Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 09:52 AM by olegramps
Sarah Palin represents exactly the element that took down the Republican Party. She represents the racists and religious extremists that the Rovians appealed to and who transformed their party into little more than a religious fascist cult. If she emerges as their hope for the future they will find that she will further alienate the majority of Americans who are sick of their exclusionary policies. McCain ran a dirty campaign of appealing to the most divisive elements of society and went down in flames. Palin is so clueless that she thinks that the adulation of 5% of Americans represents the vast majority. Her brazen thirst for power will be her undoing.

20. On the MSNBC feed, I swear I didn't even see her on the stage for the first 2-3 minutes.
And McCain didn't mention her until he was well into his speech.

He gave her (the crowd) 10 seconds of her and moved on.

Buh Bye Sawah.
