Indiana and N.C. CNN Map?
Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 07:46 AM by JustAnotherGen
Okay - so I'm waking up with a smile on my face . . . Someone schoo lme - why are Indiana and N.C. still gray?

NC - 100% of Precincts Reporting
Obama 2,101,986 50%
McCain 2,089,826 49%

IN - 100% of Precints Reporting
Obama 1,352,356 50%
McCain 1,329,370 49%

Why are they behind on updating that map? What's going on?

2. Missouri should be red (unfortunately) too.
They probably sent everyone home last night when the overal race was decided. It'll be updated.

7. Provisional and absentees
It's close in both states and you still have provisional and absentee ballots outstanding.

NBC Called IN for Obama, though.

9. because we ROCK!
I have been waiting too long for this day. Even though it's only a slight margin, I know at least half of the people in this state agree with me.

Growing up as a very liberal, lower class female was no freakin' picnic in small town NC.

Today I can do a happy dance.

Yay ME! Yay US! Yay Mr. President!!!!!

10. In NC, Obama has a 12,000 vote lead. But, in 2004, there were 50,000 provisional ballots cast.
And we have HUGH military bases in the eastern part of our state and I bet there are many absentee ballots to be counted.
