That's a nice spread... Maybe it will get up to 53% -46%...

1. Obama only has to add a few tenths to get to 53% by rounding. I think he will.

3. Most votes are from the west coast
Washington state, Oregon, and California have to report a lot of precincts. There are also a few small blue states like NH, VT, and ME where there are still precincts out.

6. I am quite disappointed
I thought the turnout will be huge. Looks like it will be the same or lower than 2004. If an extra 2-3% of the voters had showed up, we might have won the senate seats in MN, OR and GA and a dozen more House seats.

53-46 would sound a lot better. Come on, California!

Washington: 55.55% reporting
California: 90.25 reporting

It's got a bit of room to widen still.
