I wouldn't be surprised to see Richard Lugar or Chuck Hagel as Sec Of Def. I wouldn't have a problem with either if they promise to support the oveturning of "don't ask, don't tell."

Howard deserves the reward for helping rebuild the Democratic Party and making it competitive again in "red" areas and doing so despite the Clintonistas attacking him for his 50 State Strategy.

This would be a better show of bipartisanship. If I remember correctly, both Lincoln and Clinton did this to their advantage.
