1. Why :(
Shine the spotlight on him in Congress and kick his ass to the curb. This way it will be made public for everyone to see.

2. What's wrong with Alaska?
First, Alaska gave us Palin :puke: and now they will reelect a 84 year old convicted criminal to the US Senate :puke:

4. Damn. Think of McCain, having to see Palin every day.
You almost feel sorry for the guy.

Almost.

5. Alaska deserves Stevens
The last thing we want to do it expel him. Make Alaska live with him, but cut off all that pork he has made a career on. And let's cut off Mrs. Pork while we're at it. They like Joe the Plumber's message of self reliance, so live with it.

7. She'll reap more pork for the bridge
and the road to the bridge. And improvements to her Wasilla mansion.

9. So when the new congress takes their places in January, they kick his ass OUT
and a special election is held... Begich may beat Caribou Barbie if she dares to run...

10. Begich couldn't beat a convicted felon
No offense to him, but it's probably impossible for a Democrat to win in Alaska. That's the only logical conclusion that can be drawn from this absurdity.

12. I don't understand the vote totals
In 2004, 311,000 Alaskans voted in the presidential race. This year it's 212,000 with 96% reporting. I found a link to an Alaskan paper that indicated 40,000 absentee ballots and 9000 early votes were yet to be counted, but even that doesn't threaten the 2004 tally.

Hard to believe Alaska Democrats did not show up, with a favorite in the House race and senate race.
