Rasmussen Daily Tracker (States) (GOOD NEWS!!!)
Edited on Thu Sep-09-04 05:34 PM by DarthDem
Can't link . . . .

FL tied, 47-47
MI, K/E, 48-42
OH, K/E, 49-46
PA, K/E, 48-46

NC, B/C, 55-40 (heh)

Sure makes a lot more sense than these ridiculous network polls.

1. I wish I knew more about Rasmussen's sampling model
It looks like his may favor Dems in his sampling. I surely hope not. But his polling has been a statistical outlier and I'd sure like to know why.

9. Why?

His methodology is 800 LVs. 5% MoE is high, but the sample size is fairly good.

2. Rasmussen has to prove himself in this election
to be looked at as a credible pollster, especially after his 8 point lead for bush bonanza on the day before the election in 2000.

But YOU Didn't...Rassmussen is swimming against the tide again...we need credible pollsters SOMEWHERE in this stupid country that will give us a truly accurate picture of who's ahead in this horserace!

5. Well . . .
. . . as is pointed out below, these polls are in line with anecdotal evidence. I mean, there's got to be a common sense factor in here. Do you really believe that Kerry suddenly plunged to 11% down in Ohio - - or 7% down nationally? Ridiculous - - and with all the crap swirling around * today and presumably ths weekend, I don't think that trend, if it exists, is likely to continue.

16. "Anecdotal evidence" is an oxymoron
just like compassionate conservative.

17. Nope
It just means that you're generalizing from a data point.

Edited on Thu Sep-09-04 05:07 PM by skooooo
Is that right? It's not clear from your post...

Edit: Nevermind, I get it. Why do these differ so much from what CNN says?

11. Don't give up in NC!!!
I'm not sure about the accuracy of those polls #s for NC. I HOPE
that they are incorrect since I reside here. Have faith! Last August when Dems met for John Kerry Campaign the host had to schedule
two separate times because of the # of people. We are VERY active here in Wilmington with voter registration and gearing up for
volunteer phone banking and canvassing! Don't break my faith!

12. Not Giving Up

There's no way that Kerry is down 15 points there. That said, it's a hard sell to all those folks in farm country.

13. No, NC's not a loss.
It'll take more than one bad poll in early Sept. to declare NC a loss, I would think.

Sorry, I just decided to post them that way for some reason.

Does CNN have daily tracking for these states?
